Friction Analysis

I used to think that once a business got big (whatever that means), there would be no friction because the entrepreneur would have perfectly dialed-in structures and efficient systems in place. I would imagine myself spending the whole day like this:

From January 2021 to December 2022, we grew our business from 13k/m to an average of over 85k/m, and I became aware that my assumption was somewhat naive.

Now, at almost 200k/m, I am still far from having everything perfectly sorted out. We still face chaos when we launch, brainstorm ways to improve our offer structure and messaging, and discuss what kind of company we want to build and who we, as business owners, want to be in the future.

I realized that—like everything else—removing friction should be approached as an infinite game by all entrepreneurs and that we are often too close to recognizing where the elements of our own business and life are out of alignment.

Regardless the symptom (revenue rollercoaster or profit plateau, feeling bored, drained or overwhelmed, lack of excitement, energy, or constant inner tension) ➡️ the cause is friction!

Friction, for example, between:

⚙️ your offer(s) and the way you want to do business (zone of joy & genius)

⚙️ your marketing message and your perfect-match client situation or state of mind

⚙️ your zone of joy & genius and your marketing channels and content

⚙️ your purpose or values and the vision and mission of your business

⚙️ the growth of your business and the structures and processes in the backend or the delivery system

⚙️ your desire for growth and the offer structure and scalability

The intention for this session is therefore:

To identify the (true) cause behind your most significant source of friction and devise a clear plan for removing it.

Because we have all been on sales calls disguised as a "Strategy Sessions," I want to openly share my motives for offering something so valuable for free.

1) I want to connect with potential clients for my Business Partnership offer and/or the UE Dojo. Yes, I would love to sign you for one of my offers (someday), but that will not corrupt the intention of this Friction Analysis. If you want to talk about working together afterwards, I am happy to schedule a dedicated call where we can talk offers and logistics. If not, that is perfectly fine as well because I have two more reasons to offer this at the moment.

2) So far, I have mostly worked with German-speaking entrepreneurs. While I am confident in the content of my work, my English communication skills need practice and finetuning.

3) I want to create content of me "in action." I will use our session recordings to have my assistant extract and prepare content pieces for social media and ads. Of course, we will only use my site of the camera and my voice (without naming you or hinting at your business) so that you will stay completely anonymous.
